Scaling & polishing with ultrasonic and polishing equipment is mainly for older children. We use a combination of hand scalers and gentle polishing with dental apparatus in very young children. It is very important that every visit to the dentist is as positive as possible. Therefore we take our time and check in frequently with the child to ensure they are happy with the process.
