Dr Tan Yeng Shuang graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, she continued to gain valuable experience caring for patients across a variety of healthcare settings. She worked with NHG Polyclinics, caring for the general public, and gained experience in paediatric dentistry, caring for children at the Health Promotion Board Centre, School Dental Services, and KK’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She gained further experience in prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery, caring for the general public and the elderly population at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
She is fluent in English and Mandarin and supports patients in taking charge of their oral health through gentle, holistic care. She believes each patient is unique and takes her time to understand each patient’s concerns, tailoring treatment plans to their individual needs and goals. Her warm and friendly personality puts her patients at ease, a trait she attributes to having been a nervous dental patient herself.
Having cared for patients across all stages of life, from children to adults and seniors, she enjoys providing comprehensive dental care. Her scope of practice includes preventive and general dentistry during regular dental reviews, fillings, extractions, wisdom tooth surgery, root canal treatment, crowns, and denture fabrication, among other treatments.
On her off days, she explores the world, enjoys reading, exercising, and dancing, and spends quality time with her loved ones.
